Allow the lawful carry of handguns in State Forests.

Allow the lawful carry of handguns in Virginia's State Forests.  I see no reason why law-abiding citizens' constitutional rights to keep and bear arms, for self defense or any other lawful reason, should be different in Virginia's State Forests than they are in any other part of the commonwealth.  Rules and laws are written for, and obeyed by, law-abiding citizens.  Criminals do not obey rules and laws, by definition.   To argue against this petition by saying that poaching, illegal hunting and other crimes will increase paints law-abiding citizens as criminals.  Please keep the two groups separate in considering passage.  The criminals who are running meth. labs, growing pot, poaching animals and preying on hikers and campers already have guns in the State Forests; nobody's rules will stop that.  The law-abiding, the rule obeyers, are simply asking for the same rights as the criminals already take for themselves.
