I don't think I need a lot of words to say what I mean. 

Our Constitution guarantees Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.  Life is preserved by self-defense.  Self-defense is achieved by many means, but in extreme cases (like what happened here on my campus) only a firearm can stop an attacker.  Men, women, children, and families are endangered when they are disarmed, because they are denied self-defense.

Not to mention that concealed handgun permit (CHP) holders have proven to be amongst the most law-abiding demographics in the country.
