I have no fear of "coming across a person with a concealed handgun" in a forest. It's 'concealed'. I also have no fear of coming across someone open carrying either. It's right where I can see it. What I am afraid of is the guy in the bushes near the trail waiting to do me or my loved ones harm. If open carry or concealed carry is allowed, the bad guys 1.Don't know if the intended victim is armed, because he COULD BE, or 2. the intended victim is obviously carrying and therefore is equippped to deal with the bad guy, so he or she is NOT a victim.
