Please allow law-abiding cititzens to be able to defend themselves.

I, my wife and both sons all have concealed carry permits.  The process of being granted a CCP ensures that the grantee is a law-abiding citizen of the Commonwealth.  We would spend time in our State Parks if we were allowed to be able to defend ourselves if necessary.  Banning law-abiding citizens from carrying firearms only encourages criminals to perpetrate crimes in our State Forests because they know they will be the only ones carrying weapons.  It creates safe zones for criminals to perpetrate their crimes.  If the Commenwealth agrees that we may carry our concealed firearms elsewhere, why not in our State Parks and Forests, as well?

Thank you for your consideration of our perspective in this matter.
