As mentioned by earlier commenters, this seems to be an additional and unnecessary requirement as individuals must meet or exceed other standards in order to obtain licensure, including the licensing exam. This serves to limit our ability to provide competent services by decreasing the number of license eligible practitioners in the mental health community, which may in turn lead to far too few service providers and larger case loads that then decreases the overall quality of service.
