I cannot comment on the experience with this equipment in other jurisdictions, but based on my experiene as an Officer of Elections for the past 15 years, I believe our experience with it has been good in Fairfax City. Similarly, the integrity of elections in the City simply is not an issue, nor does it appear to be an issue in the Commonwealth. Consequently, I believe Fairfax City has nothing to gain from expending additional funds on new equipment and the extensive training that new equipment would require.
