The post by Jeremy Epstein of Virginia Verified Voting enumerates an amazing list of vulnerabilities in the WinVote voting machines that would not be tolerated in computers used in any business.  Using these machines is an open invitation to election theft.  They should never be used again.

These machines should be replaced optical scan ballots.  Optical scan is the most widely used voting technology in the U.S.  It is easy for voters to use, reliable, and easily auditable.
