Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

It is absolutely necessary to have the strictest health standards at all places that perform medical procedures, including abortions. I cant understand why anyone would not be supportive of having better facilities and care. Just imagine yourself in that situation and I think you will quickly agree that you would want the best possible. Also, why would you want to go to a place with untrained staff" The credentials for doctors, nurses, and other staff should be strictly regulated, also. The supposed reason given for legalizing abortions has been to end the "back alley butchering" - how are these unregulated places any different" One needs to ask Planned Parenthood why they dont support these standards. If they were really for the betterment of women, they would insist on the best.Thank you for the opportunity to comment.Mrs. Sharon SmallwoodSpringfield, VA Sharon Smallwood
