Let's stop pretending that the TRAP regulations are about keeping women safe and acknowledge that they are about politics and the potential goal of eliminating access to abortion in Virginia.  Abortion is one of the safest procedures and does not need to be regulated in this way.  In addition, these clinics provide other preventive care to women who will lose all access to basic care.  Women should not have to beg for their right to self determination.  Men will never be in that position.  This is an outrage.  I cannot believe that my daughters (in their 20's) have FEWER rights than I did at their age.  I also cannot believe that we are fighting the same fights we thought were settled 40 years ago.
