As outpatient surgery centers, abortion facilities must be governed by reasonable regulations to uphold and enforce basic medical standards for the safety of patients. The government must support reasonable standards to ensure sterility, professionalism, effective emergency procedures and transparent record keeping in medical facilities and abortion facilities should not be excluded.
