I am writing to urge you to uphold the current regulations concerning abortion centers. Women who chose to have an abortion must be protected and the procedure must be done in a safe environment.There have been too many incidences of unsafe procedures before the implementation of the current regulations. Based upon the number of violations, the abortion industry has proven that it cannot be trusted to regulate itself and perform procedures in a consistently safe manor.In addition, many abortion centers were just not equipped to handle emergencies that may arise. The requirements are not unreasonable and if these centers truly have womens health as their best interest, they should be willing to comply. S. Page Allen
