The current abortion clinic licensure regulations should be repealed and the law should be changed.

Laws and regulations for health services should be evidence-based, with the interests of the patient and public in mind.  The current law and regulations are NOT evidence-based.  They are doing more harm than good.

There is a small, but very vocal, minority of individuals supporting the current stringent and unnecessary regulations.  The Virginia Department of Health and the Board of Health needs to know there is a large, but not as vocal, majority of individuals who do not support the current regulations.  We look to the Department and Board to have the courage and conviction to take the necessary actions to repeal the current regulations and change the law.
