The Virginia Health Department's very existance is to protect Virginians from medical malefeasance, unsanitary conditions which are likely to spread infections and diseases, and reduce barriers to swift emergency care. It bogles my mind that our state officials are considering relaxing these basic regulations in the name of "choice", and putting the lives and health of women in jeopardy.

Please reexamine your mission and purpose and make the right decision to uphold or strengthen the existing health and safety standards.
