I am extremely disgusted by the low standards to which abortion clinics are currently held. If a woman chooses to have an abortion, we must ensure that the environment in which she does so is safe and clean, and has a staff that is properly trained. In many abortion "clinics" the conditions are abhorrent. That is proven daily by their extensive number if safety violations for unsterilized needles, blood-spattered exam tables and equipment, incomplete life saving equipment, violations in parental consent laws, failure to report potential child abuse, among many more. Although I am adamantly against aborting the unborn, I am adamantly for the health and safety of all women. The current conditions in abortion centers are unacceptable and it is our duty to make sure these women are safe. I urge you to please focus your efforts on keeping these women safe by instituting reasonable health and safety standards for abortion centers. Katie Horst
