Please protect women by providing safe and healthy places for them to receive abortions.These basic health standards are needed to make a safe level of care for women. Women deserve better than blood splattered exam tables, unsterilized needles, and lack of lifesaving equipment in case of an emergence. Those who make the decision to have an abortion should be able to have it done in an environment that meets basic health and safety standards, is clean, and where the staff is trained. These health and safety standards simply ensure that abortion centers meet common sense standards of care to ensure womens health is paramount.Planned Parenthood alone is a $1 billion industry.
