Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

I am writing to URGE you to comply by health standards that protect women against unsanitary conditions at abortion facilities!Within the past two or three years, inspections have exposed various health and safety violations: rooms that are filled with blood splattered exam tables and equipment, unsterilized needles, insufficient equipment to save the life of the mother when something goes wrong and the mother is in a life-threatening situation, and many other violations. Women considering abortion deserve the same clean, healthy conditions that they would encounter at a hospital facility or doctors office. Why is it that even doctors offices have the red medical hazard needle receptacles to protect against infection, and yet these abortion facilities are not even completely sanitized - both with equipment and exam tables, etc" Ill tell you why: the abortion industry is a MULTI-BILLION dollar industry. People who are in the industry care more about making money that protecting the lives of the women who enter the facilities! This is an ATROCITY!! The abortion industry CLAIMS to be safe, but 300+ safety violations prove otherwise! Planned Parenthood alone is a $1 billion industry. It has the money to bring its abortion centers into compliance with reasonable health and safety standards. It simply has to choose if it is going to spend it on womens health instead of political campaigns.PLEASE - I URGE you - consider what I have written here. Do NOT allow pro-abortionists to claim the lives of not only the UNBORN, but those who are still LIVING by not complying with health and safety standards! Karen M Gehbauer
