Regulation needed to protect women

Board of Health,

In Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the Supreme Court made clear that regulations that promote the health and welfare of the mother are per se Constitutional. These regulations are necessary to protect the health and welfare of women. Abortion clinics should be subject to health and safety inspection and regulations. Given the history of industry, it cannot be trusted to self-police. This is a sensitive situation and women deserve the best facilities. When emergencies happen, this costs the taxpayer fisc. Prevent these emergencies by having adequate regulation in place. Isha Youhas
