I am outraged. These TRAP regulations are ridiculous and go far beyond sensible health & safety measures. They are clearly meant for no good reason than to make abortion inaccessible by closing clinics that perform the procedure. I'm all for safe clinics, but as a woman and the mother of a daughter I am horrified by the possibility that access to abortion will become so limited in VA as to drive women to unsafe, illegal methods. We live in 2014 in an (ostensibly) civilized country. Please repeal this ridiculous law and instead base regulations on legitimate concerns for heath and safety, not your desire to close clinics that perform abortions.
