End politically motivated, medically unnecessary regulations

The TRAP regulations were put in place to prevent women from their right to end a pregnancy.  They have nothing to do with protecting women - women can make informed decisions for themselves.   If these regulations were useful then they should apply to all providers of outpatient medical procedures - including those that provide services to men.  They should apply for dental surgery, eye surgery, prostate surgery, colonoscopies, and other outpatient procedures.  Abortion providers already had plenty of regulation.  These additional requirements are only added to force them to shut down one of the safest medical procedures out there.  If your goal is to reduce abortions, then increase education.  Mississippi's TRAP law is about to be overturned as the appeals court recognizes that it is merely a tool to shut down medical services for women - not to protect us.  Do not waste Our state's time and money with politically motivated regulation that will ultimately lose in court.
