Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

Abortion is NOT health care. It may eliminate a temporary problem but in the long run the mother and society suffers the consequences. Mothers who abort their unborn child do suffer traumatic psychological and often physical adverse physical and mental consequences. Why" Because it is first and foremost an UN-Natural act for a mother to kill its unborn child. Even animals and insects do not do it.Abortion clinics should at least provide facilities and services which ensure that when a procedure results in any kind of injury to the mother, there is staff available and equipped to handle the situation. Giving a woman a pill that induces abortion and then sending her home to handle the outcome on her own is not a safe medical procedure. That is why we need regulations to avoid the consequences of un-intended outcomes. Drake Hoffman
