Abortion is a medical procedure and needs to have monitored health and safety requirements just like all medical procedures. It is complete nonsense to claim that the health and requirements recently passed are somehow injurious to women. NOT having medical standards is what is injurious to women. I strongly encourage the Virginia Board of Health to maintain strict control of all medical procedures including abortion to insure that all Virginians have access to the safest medical care possible.
