Uphold Standards, Protect Women

Board of Health,

The abortion industry should be held to strict standards of cleanliness & hygiene, frequent inspections, and have personnel and the ability to deal with emergencies when they occur. An abortion is a medical procedure that can easily turn into a serious, life threatening emergency, and strict medical standards should always be followed, with the ability to deal with emergencies immediately. Women have died due to abhorrent conditions and lack of proper care! Money and politics should not be more important than the lives and health of women who have an abortion. The abortion clinics are a business, and they make a lot of money off the women who come to them. How are they different from any other greedy industry that doesnt want any part of their profit used to maintain safety standards" Why should they be held to a lower standard just because of politics" For the sake of women, the government needs to have strict health and safety standards for abortion clinics, and maintain frequent and unannounced inspections to keep the abortion clinics in compliance!
