I am stunned to think some Virginians believe women do not deserve or even need the medical standards required of hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. I believe that these standards are reasonable. To do less would be a slap in the face to half the population. Our local veterinarians hold themselves to higher standards than the numerous violations suggest are in force in the clinics. That is wrong and it is embarrassing. Please uphold these minimal standards. Capt. John Snidow
