We try to teach our children about equality, however, as adults we do not practice it.  A person's ability to adopt and parent a child should not depend on their sexual orientation.   I know many couples who would make amazing parents, because of their ability to love a child, the face that they happen to be gay or lesbian in no way affects their ability to raise or love a child.  We need to be the role models for our children and teach them what equality truely is.
