The best interests of the child should be the sole determinant of whether a child should be placed with a foster parent(s) or adoptive parent(s).

State-licensed child placing agencies should not be allowed to discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, political beliefs, sexual orientation, disability, family status.

Gay men, lesbians, and straight people all have the same potential to be fine parents. Please do not exclude gay men and lesbians from being loving foster parents and adoptive parents.
