Preserve Freedom!!

We all share different beliefs on this issue, but no matter what side you are on we (including the children) deserve freedom and EXPECT our government leaders to respect our freedom of choice. Under this premise, NO legislation can violate our inherent freedom to follow what we believe and live our values.

Faith-based agencies have a right, under federal and state law, to make decisions that are consistent with their religious beliefs, including their beliefs about marriage and family life. This right must be respected and preserved.

Many birthparents and prospective adoptive parents hold these beliefs as well, and they have every right to work with agencies that share their values.

Forcing agencies and individuals to choose between following their own values or following the law would be an unprecendented violation of freedom and liberty.

Faith-based agencies provide vital services to out communities, and they MUST be allowed to continue the great work they are doing without having the law interfere with the values and beliefs with which they undertake this service.
