Unfortunately in Virginia, children can fall victim to the politics. These are children who have already been neglected or abused. Then our laws turn around and do the same thing by denying them permanent and loving homes. As Virginians we should be ashamed that we would be a part of the further victimization of children. As a foster parent, I know how many precious children end up in group homes because the homes available are not suitable for a particular child. Children often need to be the only child because of there exposure to horrific realities. Traditional families often already have children in the home, limiting the type of child they can add to the mix or they want babies. Please look out for these children they do not have a voice but like every other American, foster and adoptive kids should have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness! Give them the choice to choose loving parents who happen to be gay!
