Please allow GBLT Parents to Adopt

I cannot understand why people want to limit the chances of children to find a good adoption home by excluding GLBT parents. Prospective parents should be judged on the qualities that make them good parents, not irrelevant details. All GLBT prospective parents might not be right for all situation, but then not all straight parents are not accepted either. It is not the GLBT status that matters, but other factors that have been established through the years. My mother was a social worker working with adoptions back in the '60s, and I remember her talking about doing home visits and evaluating families. We have been doing this for a long time and have a good idea about factors that are relevant, whether the parents are GBLT or straight.
