The standard for adopting children from foster care in the State of Virginia should be: "would this person or couple be (a) good parent(s) to this waiting child?" Whether a person is gay or not is irrelevant. It is ridiculous that this is even being discussed. I would suggest that hatemongering be used as a standard to exclude potential adoptive parents. These kids deserve the best we have to offer and intolerant people should not apply.
