I support anti-discrimination protection

I believe there are already sufficient protections in the screening process of prospective parents. Prospective parents should not be catagorically eliminated who are prepared and committed long term to caring for and loving a child in need of a permanent home. The discrimination eliminating these people is not only against the prospective parents but denies a child an otherwise secure home and committed family.

As a taxpayer, I do not want my tax dollars supporting a discriminatory process of selecting adoptive or foster parents.

I am a grandfather of an infant girl adopted by two totally committed gay men. My granddaughter has a safe, permanent home with loving committed parents. They are residents of a state that has worked through this issue and the system works. Look around at how others have done it. Thankfully,  we do not have to reinvent the wheel.
