It is important to be fair to prospective parents who may be LGBT. Please consider that a loving family with the ability to provide a safe and nurturing home is more important than the sexual orientation or the gender of the parents. There are so many examples of successful parenting by LBGT families that it is time to set aside prejudicial requirements and look at the actual characteristics of the individuals involved in each adoption.
