I am a resident of Virginia currently working for the US Government in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. 

The challenges of absentee are already difficult enough.  The actions of McDonnell and others to micromanage the voting process amount to excessive regulatory action,  I suggest that those who support these unnecessary absentee ballot changes should worry instead about supporting policies  and candidates who support  the economic well-being and welfare of a majority of Virginians, so that they can rely on the will of the voters to support them, rather than disenfranchising anyone who may not support their candidates and policies .
