One of our proudest  feelings as Americans is that we have over the years expanded voting rights and eliminated indefensible, often disciminatory, limits on voting. Now there is an organized effort in Virginia and elsewhere to roll back a lot of these reforms and put limits on voting, not for any reasonable purpose but for naked partisan advantage.

Throwing out clearly readable absentee votes because of penmanship? Shame, shame. We're better than that. Make it easier for Virginians to vote, not harder!
