It is Beyond being past due that Virginia and other states end discrimination in adoption of foster care children based soley on sexual orientation of the adoptive parent or parents. It has  been an archaic and discriminitory polcy for far too long. Put the children first and allow them to be adopted into a forever home where  they will get the love and support they so desperately need in order to become well adjusted functional members of society and not permanently damaged individuals that are victims of the "system" and politics
