Our state's debate over this issue should not be dominated by identity politics, but by what is in the best interest of children who are in desperate need of loving, stable families.  The overwhelming body of evidence illustrates that LGBT families are just as capable of providing this as other types of families. 

Please do not allow bigotry (even when it is disguised in the clothing of "religious freedom") to keep our children from being placed in loving, stable environments.  

We should look to the research, look to the experience of children raised in LGBT families versus those raised without the benefits of permanent homes, and make rational decisions that are in the best interests of children.
