The right for faith-based adoption agencies to made decisions that are consistant with their religious beliefs about marriage and family life must be respected and preserved.  Forcing them to choose between following their own values or following the law would be an unjust and unprecedented violation of religious freedom in Virginia.  Faith-based agencies must be allowed to contiue their great work withoug the intrusion of the government in their practice of their faith.  On April 20th, the Sate Board of Social Services upheld the fundamental righ tof faith-based agencies to continue their work without threat to their constitutional and civil rights.  The government must continue to protect the religious freedom of all those serving these adoptin agencies.
