Preserve Religious freedom

On April 20th the state board of Social services corretly upeld the fundamental right of faith-based child placement agencies to continue their great work of helping children and families without governmental intrusion into the practice of their faith. Private faith- based child placement agencies have a right under federal and state that are consistant with their convictions and beliefs about marriage and family and they shouldn't have to change their policies. Many prospective adoptive parents desire to work with agencies that hold the same values. By causing all agencies to conform to the same standard you are taking away the religious freedom which is fundamental to our commonwealth and unique to our country. Faith based agencies provide vital services to our communities. They must be allowed to continue the great work they are doing!
