I am pleased that the Board, on April 20, 2011 approved regulations respecting the beliefs and consciences of faith based adoption agencies as well as birth parents in the areas of family and marriage that impact where a child will be placed.

I ask the Board to reject any proposed changes to these regulations that would discriminate against these faith based adoption agencies and birth parents by forcing them to violate their beliefs or for faith based adoption agencies, that they would be forced to close down.
