First, this issue is a constitutional issue. Clearly the U.S. Constitution (1st Amendment) gives non-governmental organizations the right to decide their own policies.

Second, if religious organizations are forced to allow adoption to people they do not feel should be adopting children based on their faith, then they will shut down their services. This will do tremendous harm to thousands of children who need to be adopted. 

Please reject any regulation that discriminates against faith-based child placement agencies.
