It should be a no-brainer that discrimination should be illegal. We should be doing whatever is in the children's best interest, which is having them in a safe and happy home. If you asked them, I am sure they would tell you that that is what THEY prefer. And they shouldn't have to be teaching the adults a lesson - we should know it ourselves. Discrimination is wrong and helps no one.
