Children deserve loving, careing, capable homes.

Gender, age, disability, religious or political affiliation, race, color, national origin or sexual orientation do not determine if a person is capable of parenting.  Basis of approving home should be on criteria that has to do with the ability of a parent to parent, nurture and protect.  There are too many children in the foster care system waiting for homes for us to put even more unnecessary restricions on those who are willing to adopt or foster. I support adoption/foster care regulations protecting potential parents from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, age, disability, religious or political affiliation, race, color or national origin.
