Include all of the original protections!

I am writing you as an out gay man who believe it is wrong to deny someone the opportunity to care for a child based on their age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or faith. Virginia rates at the top of children who age out of the foster care system, so why allow agencies that are placing children to decide to whether or not they should narrow the pool of elligible families, when GLBTQ people are perfectly capable of creating a loving environment for children. Age, faith, and ability should also be included, as they have no real relevance to determining how stable or loving an home can be.

Please keep the rules in their original form. Do not allow prejudices to effect what types of homes are elligible to care for a child.
