Good afternoon. I write you today in the hopes that the discriminatory laws that have held children hostage to the system, be removed. The laws should be in the best interest of the child, not the political or religious preferences of elected officials. Some people dream of being a doctor or a lawyer when they grow up, I have always dreamed of being a mother. Because of a reproductive disorder, my chances of becoming pregnant through reproductive technology are slim. My partner and I will make fantastic parents with our child being brought up in a house filled with love, understanding, hope and faith. Please give us that option.
