science and religious freedom takes precedence over political correctness

This law may be politically correct based upon popular trends, but it is not legitimate based upon science the protection of religious freedom guaranteed in the Constitution.

Science has consistently shown that children thrive in traditional marriage homes.  On the reverse, we do not have longitudinal studies that consistently and reliably demonstrate that children fare well in LGBT homes. We do know that there is a much higher rate of mental illness and suicidality in LGBT individuals; even in countries where there are norms that wholly support these alternative lifestyles, the rate of mental illness continues to be high.  We have too much to learn about these issues to allow political pressures to put children at risk.

Individuals who surrender their children for adoption have a right to determine what kind of home those children are placed in.  It is absolutely wrong to say that LGBT individuals who choose to live alternative lifestyles have more rights than parents to give up their children, more rights than faith-based organizations, and more rights than the children who are being put at risk in non-traditional homes.  Adoption should not be a social experiment.
