Make a rational choice and not one politically based!

I believe it to be irresponsible and damaging to allow children to be given to homosexual households. When it comes to children their well-being must be considered first. The burden of proof should be placed upon this type of household to show that they are at least as good as one with a good mother and father. It is well known that homosexuals have a much greater rate of mental problems, specially depression. And though any household can break up, the rate at which homosexual relationships break up is far greater than that of heterosexual relationships. There is much more instability. If the state of Virgina allows this then they will be on the wrong side of history. The future will show the great consequences of the decisions being taken now. It will be remembered as the time when political correctness was put before the well-being of children whose lives we had on our hands. This must not be so. An objective decision must be taken and great care must be used to distinguish between biased and methodologically-defective studies on the matter that look for a result before the study has begun, and objective, well done research with large sample sizes.
