My concern is that this regulation will force faith-based adoption agencies to leave the state of Virginia because of their convictions regarding same sex relationships. This is a matter of religious liberty and conscience. The state has no right to force religious organizations that believe male to male/female to female sex is against natural law and a perversion to adopt a child into that kind of relationship. I am sure a gay couple can find an adoption agency willing to accommodate them. There needs to be tolerance here on both sides.
