Protect rights of private adoption agencies to choose where they place children

Please do not take away the right for private adoption agencies to live according to their religious beliefs in where they place children. Children deserve to have a mother and a father. If these agencies are providing this, they are doing good work. Please do not give into the social pressure of those few, but extremely load voices pushing for adoption by gay couples.

Forcing these agencies to do this would be just another form of religious discrimination, which our founding fathers were trying to get away from. Our country is not a pure democracy, where the people are always right. This always ends in chaos and destruction. We are a democratic republic. This implies that there is an objective moral standard by which all our laws have to be judged and recieve their validity. This standard is the natural law which is written inside the heart of every person, and which calls us to the perfection of our person.

And so again, please do not give into social pressure, but in love, call people to the truth about what is objectively good and perfective of mankind. Stand firm to protect marriage  and thus adoption to the traditional family.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Stephen Beach
