Adoption or foster care must be in the best interest of the child or children involved.  I do not understand how it is possible that the best interest of the child is served by placing that child with an adult or adults who practice homosexuality.  Virginia does not recognize gay marriage, but this regulation would make marriage between a man and a woman EQUIVALENT to a relationship between two men or two women.

Again, how can this possibility help the child?  Is the point of this proposed regulation to institute gay marriage because the voters have rejected it?

Please do NOT adopt these regulations.  They do not help children.
