In support of licensure to  Excelsior Graduates.

Most graduates have worked as an LPN and have much more clinical experience than new graduates from a traditional Program. Many of the traditional graduates lack any experience other than what they have obtained in the course of their Program.

I have seen many of the new graduates from traditional programs go to experienced LPNs to get advice and direction.

Many of the Excelsior Graduates would not be able to become Registered Nurses without programs like Excelsior that allow them to continue to work while getting the formal education they need to advance in the field of Nursing.  

We will lose a valuable resource if we deny  Excelsior  Graduates the opportunity to join the ranks of RNs across the nation.
