I vote no for this petition.  I have been a nurse for 41 years and have been a nursing faculty as well.  I think the most valuable experience that nursing students have is the clinical aspect. .  Former experience with being an LPN or EMT can certainly add to the  knowledge that an Excelsior student has, and I believe additional clinical experience that looks at nursing from the RN leadership level is even more important to have.
